    Cost:  

    There is a park entrance fee unless you are a member of Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park.  Otherwise there is no cost for this event unless you want to rent a kayak or a paddleboard. 


    Details:  

    All participants will meet at the kayak rental place at 9 am. Paddles up at 9:30 am. If you have your own kayak or paddle board, we will be allowed to use the same launch area reserved for the rentals.  If you bring your own equipment, life jackets are required.


    Bring your own food and drinks.  Alcohol and other intoxicants are prohibited in the Park.


    Please note: This is a weather permitting event.

     - Park: 8 a.m. to sunset – 365 days a year

     - Nature Center: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday- Sunday

     - Beach Outfitters Gift Shop: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas)

    • $2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Park Pass


    You can enjoy the calm kayaking waters of the Park by renting a kayak or in your own canoe/kayak. For year-round free kayaking, consider becoming a member at Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park.  for an annual fee of $75 for an individual or $100 for a family.

    Kayak Rental Fees:

     - Free for Members
     - Single – per hour = $15
     - Single – Half Day (2.5 to 4 hours) = $38
     - Single – Full Day (4 to 7 hours) = $60

     - Double – Half Day (2.5 to 4 hours) = $50
     - Double – Full Day (4 to 7 hours) = $70


    Standup Paddle Board Rental Fees:

     - Per hour = $25
     - Half Day (2.5 to 4 hours) = $60
     - Full Day (4 to 7 hours) = $80


    Rules and Regulations:

    Kayaks and Standup Paddle Boards (SUP) may be rented between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. All kayaks must be returned no later than 4:00 PM no matter of when they were rented. Late fees ($1.00 per minute per kayak in addition to rental fee) will be assessed for any kayak or SUP returned after 4:00 PM. Kayaks, PFDs and paddles must not be removed from Park property.


    Kayaks and SUPs are rented on a first come, first served basis. There are no reservations. We do have a waitlist system in place.


     - A valid credit card will be retained by the Beach Outfitters Gift Shop until the kayak(s)/SUP(s), paddle(s) and personal flotation device(s) is returned (one credit card per group).

     - Single kayaks are for one person. Double kayaks are or two persons. No additional passengers are allowed.


    SUPs are for one adult, or one adult and one child under 13 years of age.


    You will get wet during these activities, so please plan accordingly. Bring nothing of value that can be damaged by saltwater. Waterproof dry bags, sunscreen, and water shoes are available for purchase at the Beach Outfitters Gift Shop.


    The weight limit for a SUP is 440 lbs. The weight limit for a single kayak is 250 lbs and a double is 500 lbs.


    We rent our kayaks and SUPs based on the weather conditions. We will rent if it is not too windy and there is no lightening around.


    Park Information & Guidelines:

     - The Park is open 8 a.m. until sunset; 365 days a year.

     - The Park is ADA accessible.

     - Picnic tables and grills are available.

     - Pavilions are available for rent.

     - There is an entrance fee required for all visiting the Park, unless they are members of the Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park

     - Please practice Leave No Trace ethics while at the Park: please keep a safe distance from animals and do not feed any animals

     - Anglers can fish in the estuary by wading, kayaking, or canoeing. You may also fish from non-swimming areas of the beach. Fishing is not allowed on the boardwalk. A Florida fishing license is required.

     - Vessels with motors are not allowed in the Estuary.

     - Alcohol and other intoxicants are prohibited in the Park.

     - Pets are not allowed on the beach, the boardwalks, restrooms, in the Nature Center or Gift Shop. They may be kept on a hand-held leash in other areas, per the Florida State Parks Pet Policy.

     - There are no beach lifeguards.

    Join a select group of Gators for a fabulous deep sea fishing expedition aboard the Country Club chartered boat with Captain Jim Barton.  Country Club Fishing Charters is located at Castaway's Marina behind the Square Grouper Tiki Bar in Jupiter.  Their deep sea fishing boat's slip is the third on the right hand side.  All pricing includes your rod, reel, bait, tackle and your fishing license.  They will also provide any and all instructions needed to get you and your group catching fish in no time.  


    Afterwards join the event leader Sharon Pryel at the Square Grouper.  


    Contact Captain Jim at 561-262-5329 at least 2 weeks in advance (by July 19th) to reserve your spot for $120 and give your credit card number. Reserve early because there is limited space. Cash and Zelle also accepted on the boat.

    The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission encourages all divers, anglers and commercial harvesters to remove this invasive species.

    Join the Palm Beach Gator Snow Ski Club as we view the 31st annual parade of festively decorated boats for the holidays.  This amazing event is a tradition not to be missed!

     

     

    WHERE: Juno Park, 2090 Juno Rd., Juno Beach.  It is on the west side of Ellison Wilson Road just north of PGA Blvd.  Look for tennis courts, boat ramp and baseball fields.  Look for the Gators in front of the playground toward the water. 

     

    WHEN: Arrive by 4:00 PM.  Parking may be difficult if you arrive later. You may have to park along the street and walk.  Be aware that there will be bridge closures closer to the time of the parade.  The boats will start passing us at around 7:00 PM.   

     

    WHAT TO BRING: Bring a chair and a dish to share or snacks. BYOB.

    I understand that the cancellation fee is a MININUM of 5% of the cost up to 150 days from departure.  Within 150 days of departure the cancellation fee is a minimum of 10% of the value of the trip unless I am transferring to another Gator trip of similar genre, one of which I have not previously enrolled in, and within the same fiscal year. I understand that in addition to the non-refundable cancellation fees that  the Club will also hold me accountable for any money paid to outside vendors on my behalf not refunded to the Club due to my cancellation.
      

    Trip Insurance


    It is highly advisable to purchase trip insurance for any international trip. You will need to apply and purchase your own trip insurance, which is not included or offered by the Club. Obtaining trip insurance is voluntary, entirely up to you.

     

    As a guidance, we suggest you visit www.insuremytrip.com and choose a comprehensive plan, that covers trip cancellation, medical, trip delays, evacuation, etc and has 24 hour assist hot line.

    10 Days/ 9 Nights: This bike and barge trip from Vienna to Budapest offers a unique blend of cycling and river cruising along the scenic Danube. The journey begins in Vienna, where we’ll board the deluxe barge Merlijn, which serves as our floating hotel, providing a comfortable base as we cruise past ineyards, castles, and rolling hills. Cycling days are complemented by leisurely boat rides, with stops in picturesque villages along the route. In Budapest, the trip culminates with a 3-day extension, exploring the city’s grand architecture and vibrant culture. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion.

                

    Note: The final itinerary will be determined by the Merlijn and shared closer to our departure.
